Squiz was in the process of bringing its Inclusion strategy to life. While traditional learning had already been established there was a need for a digital-first learning experience.


Squiz is a global technology company with around 450 employees located in Sydney, New York, Edinburgh, London and Melbourne.

This very web-savvy audience had a healthy dose of scepticism around ‘compliance’ or anything that might take them away from getting their job done. This meant the solution needed to be quick, easy, relatable and fun to complete.


Inspire Group worked with Squiz to identify the unique cultural quirks of each office and incorporated these into a 10-minute responsive module. Through the use of tongue-in-cheek humour, subtle visual references, real-to-environment scenarios and a number of hidden ‘Easter eggs’, we were able to overcome the cynicism the audience felt towards ‘compliance’ training while getting key messages across.


Just five days after launch, the module had a 47% completion rate, with users giving the experience a 5/5 star rating. Learners told us that the module, was short, engaging, thoughtful and had ‘Squiz DNA’ all over it. We can’t wait to see the impact this module has on the business in three-six months time!
